1.Please
read your complete packet NOW.
DO NOT wait until you are on the way to state.
2. Review the registration procedures. Remember to check your
performance order to determine if you will register on
Side One or Side Two. All teams will enter at the back
of the left side of the Civic Center and come up the
steps to register. Have your team to remain on the side
they register with and do not go to the other side of
the arena to be seated. Team members who are not in
uniform, warm-up, identifiable school items worn as a
team to enter. Only 20 will be able to enter.
3. WE need your
music person to be with you when you
register and sign in. If they are not present when
you sign in we will be unable to issue them a floor
pass.
Both coaches, if you have two, and the
music person should check in with the team.
4. Remain seated in the team area. Do not move out into the
spectator area before you perform.
5. PLEASE REMIND ALL CHEERLEADERS and ALL SUPPORTERS that they
cannot sit in the aisles. This is a
fire hazard as
well as a safety hazard. The competition can be
shut down by a fire marshal.
6. All Coaches (including community coaches) must have a valid GHSA
ID with them or a letter of proof from the GHSA that
they are the official coach of the team or a school
representative community coach.
7.
ALL TEAMS SHOULD BE CHECKED IN BY THE BEGINNING OF THE
FIRST ROTATION. (9:00
- morning session; 2:00 afternoon session)
Plan your time.
8. Allow time for
heavy traffic coming into the arena.
Remember the buses will turn left at the light in front
of the Civic Center to travel to the back of the arena
to park. Please have your buses in the left lane
coming in on the road in front of the Civic Center
9. Remember that at state the rotation continues. No one
should leave the arena once checked in. If you miss your
rotation time you will not be allowed to compete.
10. No one stunts outside of the warm-up area. No stunting on
the grass, parking lot, or concrete outside of the
arena.
11. Remind all parents "NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY!"
12. Remind your athletes and your parents how important
sportsmanship is in athletics.

You are reminded that you are not to approach any official during
or after a competition concerning a rule's violation or
score. At no point should a coach approach the
judges' hospitality room. Should you have an issue
please contact Pam Carter with the GHSA. All
results are final and no changes will occur in the
scoring.
We suggest that you have your NFHS rules book with you and your
GHSA manual. If you need a rule's clarification
Pam Carter will be responsible for that. If there
is an issue with judging/scoring Pam Carter will contact
the Booking Agent and Head Judge and work directly with
them.
